Group Booking

Hello,

We haven spoken with a travel agent at Trip Central which is located in the New Sudbury Centre.  He has informed us that although there are prices on the website for next May, they are not entirely accurate and they should only be used for reference.  He also informed us that we are able to get a group grate for the whole package in August or July.  Once we know what that group rate we will be giving each of you a call to let you know.  We were advised that for the group rate to be kept we need a minimum of 10 people to put a deposit down.  It is advised to use the group rating and book sooner than later as the resort fills up pretty quickly.  Therefore if any of you wish to try and book last minute be advised that that particular resort may be booked up.

We will let you all know of any updates that we will get later on in the summer time.

Change of Plans...

Hi!


We had planned on having a reception when we got back from the wedding in the Dominican, however we have been having various difficulties with the communication and whatnot with the owner of the hall and therefore we have decided to cancel our booking with the hall.  We are still going to have a get together for those of you who can't make it to the Dominican wedding.  We will let you all know the details when we know a bit more.

Meet The Bridal Party

We just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to our Bridal Party! Devin has decided to have a best man and a groomsmen and Erika has chosen to have two bridesmaids. 

Meet Natalia Salvatori...

Natalia is a friend that Erika met during her first year at Laurentian.  She is a small town girl with big dreams! She is spontaneous and outgoing! She is always ready to have fun and if she could, would probably spend her life laughing! She was chosen as one of two bridesmaids because of her amazing sense of humour and her support for both of us has been tremendous!  Natalia has one of the coolest talents possible! She is a nail expert! She can hook anyone up with an awesome nail design! I have copied the link here to her blog if any of you want to check her stuff out. Meet Vanessa Moynihan...

Vanessa is one of Erika's good friends that she met in grade 4 when she went to Wawa, Ontario for a school play.  They have been in contact throughout the years and now take classes together at Laurentian.  Vanessa is the most spontaneous and loud girl we have ever met! Vanessa was a perfect candidate for a bridesmaid because her support/encouragement and excitement is unreal! We all agree that if teaching does not work out for her, she should be a wedding planner. There will never be a bridezilla in the world again!  Vanessa's excitement about our wedding is awesome.  Whenever she goes anywhere with Erika she says "BAM! The Bride is here"! This is why she met all the criteria for the title of bridesmaid! 

Meet Ted Garrett ...

Ted is Devin's friend that he met at Cambrian when they both took the chef training programme.  Ted was chosen as the best man by Devin because of the friendship that was formed during culinary school. Ted is the most outgoing and adventuresome of us all! Ted spends most of his time travelling the world.  He has biked (yes, pedal biked) his way to Vancouver, British Columbia because he felt like it! If Ted wants to do it, he does it! He is currently in New Zealand travelling around!  Although the title of best man has already gone to Ted's head, it's what we expected of him and are so happy to have his support and humour to make our wedding as memorable as can be!

Meet Tanner Chisholm...

Tanner is Devin's younger brother.  Tanner was chosen as a groomsman because we both care deeply for Tanner and feel that our wedding would not be the same if he was not standing up there with us.  When Tanner found out that he would be standing beside Devin on this special day he had a grin from cheek to cheek! His excitement is phenomenal for ten year old.  We are both very excited to include Tanner in our special day! 

Well there you have it! This is our bridal party and we are both very excited for everyone to meet these very special people!

Music, music, music...

Hi Everyone,


We will be holding a private reception after the ceremony and have rented some speakers and will be plugging in an iPod for music.  Therefore, we need everyone's help! We need some good dancing music to upload so if you want you can send me a list of songs you want to hear! You can send them to my e-mail- bouchererika@hotmail.com.  It will be much easier to keep track of things that way!

It's Official

Hello Everyone!


Just letting you know that it's official :)!  We have a confirmed date for May 25th, 2012 at 5:00pm.  Everyone will receive a more formal invitation once the time approaches but for now we wanted to use this blog as a kind of heads up of what's to come!

Right now the cheapest place for passport photos is Costco, i'm not sure if you need to be a member to get it done, i'll be looking into it soon! There are other places like Wal-Mart and Sears that offer these services.  I know that here in Sudbury next weekend there will be a Passport Clinic at the New Sudbury Centre Friday from 12-8 and Saturday from 10-4. Make sure you bring your completed application with you!

Why Do Dreams Come True...

Hi Everyone!


So there is actually a point to our slightly cheesy blog title! We have chosen a beautiful resort in Punta Cana called "Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa".  It is a beautiful secluded resort about 60 minutes from the Punta Cana Airport and the closest resort is 30 minutes away.
